MCD transgene expression and Shield-1 stabilization is specific to skeletal muscle. Samples were blotted for FKBP12 (for transgene stabilization), MCD (endogenous expression), mCherry (transgene expression), and alpha Tubulin (loading control). Positive controls for mCherry and FKBP are derived from skeletal muscle of Tg-fMCD^skel mice treated with vehicle or Shield-1.
