Purified LAPTc and rLAPTc were preincubated for 15 or 240 min at different temperatures, and then their activities on Leu-AMC were measured at 37 or 60°C, respectively. ^a Control consisted of enzyme activity test without prior incubation. Standard deviation was less than 11%.
